Doors Are Open

As an individual growing up in a certain environment and going through personal circumstances to get to where I am at today, I must say it wasn’t hard and it wasn’t easy either. I can tell you the story of my mother raising me as the oldest and also my younger siblings but that’s a little too detailed and it seems like the same story you would see in a movie or TV show. My personal life is a little different from that. Me and my mother don’t always get along and agree with certain subjects (regular parent child situation) but at the same time, my mother sort of shaped me who I am today. I grew up in San Francisco for eleven years but then moved to Antioch for eight years. My goals were just the regular teenage dream, go to college, work, marriage, children, etc. Certain situations in my life occurred during my freshman year and have been stuck with me until my junior year. I must say I am proud of what I did because with that situation, certain aspects of my life would have never happened, and it would not have brought out my true self to the world and other people. I sometimes feel that people don’t understand me but if you get to know me and get me to speak my mind then you will understand how my life is. I wouldn’t change what I did for a 4yr college scholarship because this is who I am.
