Below Minimum Wage

"The Poverty Business" is a big problem in America these days. Minimum wage is a big problem because with today's economy it's not enough to support what you need to do with your life such as pay bills and have your own luxury money. Especially since now getting a career or even a job for that matter is very scarce. You not only have to compete with the other applicants but also compete with people who already have that skill for the job they are applying for. I've applied at many jobs in the past 4 years and I got a call from only one and it was temporary for 2 weeks. I also believe that some companies will look at age because they think the older you are the more wise you are about things, but it depends on where you go. My advice to the young people is to just keep applying and follow up with the job and to also stay in school don't take a semester off to work because it won't work.
