The people in my community are all older people so they know each other, I on the other hand don’t see people in just my community. I look at the whole Bay Area as a community. You will see people all the way from Sacramento to San Francisco come together and get along. When you hear the word community you will probably think about friends or a group of people from one neighborhood come together and do something with each other. The Bay Area is more than just that, going back to the days of the hippies, to the just recently past Hyphy Movement, and finally to the generation we have now, we have come together to recognize issues in the world and also have fun. Oakland and San Francisco are the two main cities in the Bay Area that you may hear about having their own small communities; such as, debate groups, dance groups, sports, and also including fans. The advantages of these specific communities is that it brings together all different races and religions and do things that may make a difference in the world or even just to have fun on a regular basis. There is a down side, for example, sports fans that represent the home team of the 49ERS and the Raiders may clash against each other for the game which we call “The Battle of the Bay,” which is when these two teams play against each other. Some fans may take it to the extreme and get into fights because they are drunk or just want to start some drama. I myself am a 49ERS fan and love my team I represent and I will talk about other teams just as the next person, however, we have a mutual understanding of it that we won’t get upset about what each other says. We may even place a wager because we are that competitive with the love of the game, but it is still just strictly for fun. I am apart of many different communities; including the Bay Area and the San Francisco 49ERS. My communities are fun to be involved in and you can learn something every day from them.
I agree on how the communities come together and have fun safely. It's a beautiful thing to see everyone living and having fun. I like how you made comparisons to the 49ers and Raiders.
