Skills Are Extra Ordinary

As a Year Up student that has finished our first Module I feel that as a person I have achieved some goals that I didn’t purposely make for myself. I never thought that I could dress business attire every day for 7 weeks straight just to go to a program and learn IT and Business Communication. I personally don’t like getting into business attire all the time because that doesn’t express who I am as an individual, but for the moment of me being in this program it’s not that bad. Before in high school and college I wasn’t always (or ever) the person to go to when somebody needed help with an assignment or just to learn some kind of information about the chapter we read. At the same time I wasn’t always the person to have done the homework before it is due, I’ll either do it the day before or I’ll do it the day its due when someone says that we have homework. Another improvement I must do is to go to sleep on time at night so I don’t have to be late for class, keep myself from falling asleep, and so I can study much easier. When it came to my notes in class I did it to where I can only understand them. Whether I wrote it out or I typed it in my Evernote I knew what I was explaining for me to look back at incase I had to study harder and also use it for any quizzes and finals. So as a person going into the Business Industry I can say that I still have some work to do but I am progressing to get to my set goal.
